So it seems like Tokyo revengers are trending from yesterday for some reason everywhere I go all I can see is Tokyo revenger's related posts later I found out that it's nothing related to the anime it had something to do with the manga as far as I know chapter 241 came out recently probably yesterday and everyone is just going crazy over it now.
I am not really gonna explain why it was trending because if you are one of the anime only fans it's best for you not to know about this whole messed up situation if you really want to enjoy the anime for the next few seasons or if you are like super interested you can just ask any manga reader in the comment section hopefully they will tell you what's going on in the manga now coming back to the main topic of this video we wanted to talk about the tokyo revengers anime today mainly about the release date for the upcoming season pretty much everyone now knows that tokyo revengers season 2 has been officially confirmed the announcement for season 2 was made back in december of 2021 even though they did confirm the news about season 2 being in production they did not reveal anything about the release schedule for it some people are saying that it would probably release in december 2022 because the second season is called tokyo revengers christmas showdown arc some people are saying that it would probably release in april and there's another group of people who are saying that season 2 is going to be released in july of 2022.
Because they heard about it from some people in tick tock first of all there's no way it's releasing in april 2022 i am sure about that now about the july release date i already told you guys before that there was some kind of misunderstanding that made people think that season two release date was confirmed for july 2022 but later we found out that it was just a rebroadcast date or something else but not the actual release date for season two however i am not exactly saying that season two releasing in the summer of this year is totally impossible i am just saying that no release schedule for season two has been officially confirmed yet i even noticed that some of the anime news websites are saying that season two release date has been confirmed for 2022 but even that's not true during the announcement for season two they didn't even mention the release year so as of now while i am writing the release date for season 2 of tokyo revengers has not been confirmed yet not even the release year has been announced yet there's a high possibility of its releasing in late 2022 but again as the release year was not announced during the announcement season two can also release in 2023 if the production team decides anyway as soon as we get any official updates on it we will let you know.
